Is it virginiensis?
I saw a reference in the Guide to a second species with darker wings (which this fella seems to have), so I hedged the ID and kept it at the genus level.

 
Absolute amateur guesses "yes"
It could be M. scutellata, but the upper-body markings don't seem to match the one and only photo of scutellata I can find on the Net. Probably not M. bella, which is a western species. I'd be pretty comfortable calling this one out as virginiensis.

 
I don't know.
Genus is as far as I can go on this one.
