Larvae from MD - Periclista

Larvae from MD - Periclista
Rocky Gap State Park, Allegany County, Maryland, USA
April 30, 2010
Size: 7-8 mm
By May 4 and back home in PA they were running out of food and dying; on May fifth I picked up the leaves of some oak and gave them to the larvae. They seem to be feeding although I am sure it is not the same species of oak. I hope that this keeps them alive and that they pupate and reach adulthood though.
