Not an ID, but
it looks a bit like The Herald - Hodges#8555 - Scoliopteryx libatrix.



Let's see if anyone else agrees.

Incidentally, the antennae look normal to me. They're stretched out to the back, over the moth's wings.

I would agree that it looks very much like your photo-but your colors are much brighter. The head is what really gets me.

 
Some are brighter than others...
See the photos here. As for the head, I agree that it looks a bit odd, but I suspect that's just a function of the camera angle, (or maybe the moth was looking down at the time it was photographed).

I could be wrong, of course, so let's see what others have to say.

#8555, the Herald... from what I understand there are no similar species (atleast as far as the Nearctic fauna is concerned).
