Vinnula not in Central Texas?
I can't find any solid records of (adult) A. vinnula anywhere near Central Texas. Most of the examples I'm seeing would probably fall in the lepetita bucket, but this is a muddy set of species...even as adults. I have a paper in hand by Smith & Dyar (Proc. USNM 21, 1898) which has a key to Acronycta larvae but I don't know that any BG images are sufficient to work through that key; and it doesn't include lepetita which was only described new in 1908. Is there other/newer information on which to based an ID?

No, we likely will have to wait for
Wagner's next book, on the southwest - soon we hope!
