Tylos punctatus Capistrano Beach, Orange County, California, USA July 17, 2007 Size: 11 mm
This species burrows near the previous hwm during the day and emerges 1-2 hours after sunset to feed on beached algae. Capistrano Beach appears to be close to the northern limit of the range for T. punctatus.
