My post of these flies identified as Rhamphomyia
Some Dance Flies that I photographed in the same place around the same time were identified as Rhamphomyia, as seen in the comments on my post.

 
They're probably ALL that genus...
These two that I photographed at the Field Station were identified as Rhamphomyia:


This one has not been commented on, but is likely the same as the other three:

 
R4+5
I think all the Empidinae with R4+5 unforked are Rhamphomyia but I am not certain.
