Mason wasp - Stenodynerus - female

Mason wasp - Stenodynerus - Female
Lady Lake, Lake County, Florida, USA
December 13, 2005
Small wasp, around 7-8mm.

Moved

Stenodynerus or Parancistrocerus, red (FL)
Not sure about the species, perhaps S. lineatifrons.

Right - Eumeninae (female)
Superb shot of a no less superb species. Overall habitus, size, and the shortness of the tegulae, strongly suggest a species in the genus Stenodynerus.
But, I never saw before such a brightly colored species in this group.

Thank you again,
These are very common in the yard, and so far still very active.
