Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA

I found this little moth napping on leaves, this morning. Pretty sure of ID but prefer confirmation, considering distribution. Thanks

Moved from Renia.

Moved from Litter Moths.

8471 – Hemeroplanis habitalis?
You might want to take a look at Hemeroplanis habitalis but I don't think this is identifiable without better detail of the am. and pm. lines. I like Hemeroplanis habitalis because of pattern of white dots in the st. line visible on the left wing matches and the tiny well defined black dots in the terminal line. Stone-winged doesn't really have the either but I can almost see a pm. line that fits.

BTW - Stone-winged got lumped into Morbid Owlet in 2013.

Moved to Herminiinae
Moved from Moths.

I agree with your ID but can't be sure so have moved it to subfamily for now.
