Moved, Basacallis tarachodes
Moved from
Chrysauginae
. This appears to be the best match based on black dashes along outer margin, leg tufts, and yellow along costa.

Not Sure
Per my comment on your other image
here
, this may be 5540 - Basacallis tarachodes. But wait for second opinion from expert.
Alternatively this species may in fact exist only in your yard. Joking aside, you might send it to BOLD or get it dissected if you find them next year.

"Only In My Yard"
Steve,
Actually, my comment was referring to
Streptopalpia minusculalis
- Hodges #5565. As for 5538, 5540 and 5566, I downloaded a number of each this weekend and there seems to be some discrepancies in smoother AM/PM lines and feathered feet. I'm going to review all my posts for these moths, but I'm thinking they all need to be revisited. Thanks for your help and Happy New Year.

5566 - Arta statalis
ID confirmed by Brian Scholtens, to whom I sent the photograph. In Arta (and Parachma) the lines tend to be smoother, less wrinkled, than in Streptopalpia. They are easy to confuse and I just noticed that I have what is probably a Streptopalpia (2005, photographed in Florida) on my personal page for Arta statalis. I've been photographing 20-25 moths per night recently and going through the agony of decision, or indecision, of IDs. You ain't alone.

As big as your yard must be, I'd have to say No!
