I found this spider on the ceiling. I am 14 but I want to identify it myself can you give me a hint please?

Yes, in the genus Larinioides and Lynette can probably tell you which one. We would say not cornutus, so check out the other two.

Not an expert myself -
but I would start with the orb weavers... The large pedipalps means it's an adult male.

I think its a Larinioides. am I close? how can I tell? its not in my Spiders of the North Woods book. thank you for your help.
