Blow fly - Calliphora vicina - female

Blow fly - Calliphora vicina - Female
Marin County, California, USA
May 7, 2010
Size: 11 mm body length
One of many Calliphorid flies found on a flowering tree in my yard. Distinguished by the yellow-orange setae on the hind part of the bucca - compare with C. terraenovae, which has primarily dark hairs in that region:

Calliphora vicina
Moved from Blue Bottle Fly. This appears to me to be Calliphora vicina. C. vomitoria would have a dense brush of yellow setae on the cheek, which doesn't appear to be the case here. It also doesn't have such an orange head.
