pretty sure they are lady bee
pretty sure they are lady beetle eggs (Coccinelidea)

Definitely beetle eggs, I'd say...
but I'm not 100% sure whether they're coccinellid or chrysomelid. I lean toward the former.

Were they on Ninebark Shrubs?
I just posted a few images from May 2008 that look a lot like this. I was guessing that those were Calligrapha spiraeae because I found them on Ninebark Shrubs (Physocarpus) that had dozens of beetles on them.





Two days ago I went to Pinnacles Youth Park. I didn't see any eggs or beetles, but I found a row of what looked like Ninebark Shrubs growing near the parking lot close to the large shelter.

I'm not sure if it was from ninebark shrubs, I collected them from A shrub that was along one of the trails at the top of the rock formation

Did you collect them?
They look like Coccinelid eggs to me.
