"Yup. In the southern part of the range it sometimes lacks markings, but the combination of femoral, elytral and pronotal spines (and faint elytral costae) is pretty distinctive."

That was my first guess...
but K. cincta seems to have lateral pronotal spines that I cannot make out here....Hmmm....
