Identification
Wings spotted. Wing fringe narrow. Large, relatively dark species. Normally found in small, fishless ponds or temporary water bodies.
Range
Canada (including southern Ontario) and Alaska
Life Cycle
Overwinters as egg, larvae and adults are found in summer
