Pangrapta decoralis Hübner, 1818
Wingspan 20-28 mm
Wing pattern is variable, but usually mottled yellowish, brown, violet. Scalloped margin on hindwing.
Includes eastern North America
Presumably woodlands, shrubby areas near hostplant (blueberries).
Life Cycle
Larvae feed on blueberry, Vaccinium species.
This "species" appears to be a complex of at least three sibling species; more study is needed to sort them out. (1)
