Size: 25 mm body
Dipnetted from near the base of a waterfall- this was a surprising find. Actual color in life was greenish brown- it changed to red when stored in alcohol.

signal crayfish
looks to be Pacifastacus leniusculus, which is the only known crayfish species from British Columbia
