Musca domestica - female

Musca domestica - Female
Virginia, USA
October 9, 2005
I think this might be a Musca species.
What is visible of the wing closly resembles a Musca sp. (1)
Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks

House Fly
Based on info & images linked to in the Guide, this looks like a female Musca domestica: 4 stripes on thorax, wing vein M1+2 sharply bent near tip, and an ovoid frontal stripe that occupies more than half the distance between the eyes (which distinguishes it from a female Musca autumnalis).

Thanks so much for your help, Robin!
