great pic of the emarginate eyes!
That little pale notched area at the front of the eyes is the second-most-distinctive feature of Brachiacantha (after the more obvious foreleg spurs), and I've been searching BG all morning for a pic that shows them. Yours is a) one of the few that does and b) the best of the bunch! This is going on the Brachiacantha genus Info page right away :)
