Bombus fraternus? - Bombus fraternus

Bombus fraternus? - Bombus fraternus
Colleton County, South Carolina, USA
May 11, 2010
Size: Very large
I think this is a Bombus fraternus queen -- would love confirmation from the experts. It was feeding on Lyonia mariana flowers in a cut-over area that was probably long-leaf pine forest prior to logging.
