I found this cute spider today. Does anyone have any clue what it could be?

Looks like
a male Widow (Lactrodectus species).



Of course, I'm not a spider expert, and I could be mistaken, so please wait for confirmation/correction.

He's a little the worse for wear, too. Maybe he already had an encounter with a female :-) LOL!
