Crassiuscula
I believe this is actually a
C.crassiuscula
. I've always understood the difference between
crassiuscula
and
erechtea
to be in the border of the forewing marking, as I have shown in this illustration of two BugGuide images
. The
C.erechtea
has a curved border, while the
C.crassiuscula
has a straight border of the marking. There is also a slight difference in hindwing marking. If I'm wrong on this, I'll gladly concede, but this is the distinction I've always been familiar with between these two species. :)
