Moved from ID Request. 1st West Virginia record

Thanks very much!
Thanks very much! May I ask what 1st WV record means? I am guessing it means it's the first observation in WV, but I am curious and don't want to be wrong.

1st for Bugguide
It wouldn't be the first in history for West Virginia, but was for Bugguide. I make the note so other editors can see why I moved into the guide.

Cool
Thanks, that's what I figured. :)

Tortoise Beetle, Tribe Cassidini
Looks a bit like this Deloyala guttata, but don't hold me to species ID :)

This Charidotella purpurata also looks similar.

C. purpurata
is the winner!
