Can anybody give me a genus for this Katydid nymph? Or even a species, though I suspect that I'd be pushng my luck there, LOL.

Wrong part of the world for a Mormon Cricket,
but it is indeed a Shield-back, and is related - not a bad guess. It is a nymph in the genus
Neobarrettia
. Looks to be about half grown, and I'm fairly sure it is the "Lesser Arid-land Katydid" -
Neobarrettia victoriae
(though the black spines on the hind femur are more indicative of the "Greater Arid-land Katydid"). It also looks to be a male.

Subfamily Tettigoniinae - Shield-backed Katydid
I believe. Hmmm, I wonder if it could be a young Mormon Cricket.
