Identification
Range
From Maine to the New Jersey pine barrens, to Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. There are no known Canadian records, although it occurs at least as far north as Clare County, Michigan.
Season
Mid-July to early September
Food
Successfully reared on oak and apple.
