Larva: face - Polistes dominula

Larva: face - Polistes dominula
Perry County, Pennsylvania, USA
Please compare with:
Fuscatus:
Metricus:

Differences in facial features are apparent. It is probably possible to tell a dominula larva from the native species without seeing the adult mother if you compare like this (although in this case I know for sure)
The "cheek pouches" on dominula larvae seem to be more developed. Not sure if that is the technical way to put it ; )

It should be noted that these differences are only apparent on late instars
