More Creekflies - Chrysopilus

More Creekflies - Chrysopilus
Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California, USA
May 16, 2010
yet another fly from near the banks of a wide slow moving creek with dense, almost rain forest-like foliage. I would guess a female, but not sure enough to mark it as such. The venation, more defined in the second frame, is rather pleasingly symmetrical, don't you think?

So far there are 6 creekflies that I have recently submitted. I would guess that:

The first two are male and female of one species
The next two are of a male of a second species
These last two are of a female of a third species

And not a one of them is identified yet!
