Do clerids eat ants? - Enoclerus

Do clerids eat ants? - Enoclerus
Shaw Nature Reserve near Gray Summit, Franklin County, Missouri, USA
May 24, 2009
Size: 7 mm, ant head <1 mm
Can someone ID and tell me about feeding habits of this beetle? The beetle appeared to have eaten the hapless Nylanderia whose parts lay strewn about nearby.

Moved from Checkered Beetles.

Moved from ID Request.

let me guess... Enoclerus quadrisignatus?
i'm sure they would eat anything that moves -- if the size is right, that is :)
i'll ask Jacques for more feeding habits info; he's the man.

I dunno...
This could be E. rosmarus. Can't be certain at that angle, though.
