Not a beetle.
It's a true bug--in the Family Miridae, I believe. In fact, it looks a bit like
Rhinocapsus
:
However, these critters can be tricky--and appearances can be deceiving--so be sure to wait for expert confirmation or (more likely) correction. :)
EDIT: Guess John beat me to it. Looks as if I was on the right track, at least.

I'm not sure
if the lower pale portion of A2 is large enough to be vanduzeei, but suspect that it may be (but in the others it is about 50/50). WonGun Kim will probably know for sure.

Rhinocapsus?
Thanks again, John.
I have no idea what the reference of A2 describes, but I'll be glad to move the shot if helpful.

One species
has the second antennae segment half dark half pale, one species has it almost all dark. Yours is unclear to me. Is it dark enough to be rubricans or pale enough to be vanduzeei?

Antennae
Hi John,
Thanks for the explanation, I've added a crop from another shot, and assume rubricans by your description. Sorry, I only photograph them, and awed by the amount of knowledge everyone on BugGuide has. Your help is greatly appreciated.
