Goes tigrinus - Male
Pocomoke River State Park, 38.1214, -75.4970, Worcester County, Maryland, USA
June 30, 2006
Size: 27 mm
Collected at ultra-violet and mercury vapor lights in the Milburn Landing area of the park. The White Oak Borer is not common but widespread in Maryland. I have seen specimens from Anne Arundel and Baltimore County and have heard collecting reports from Allegany and Prince George's Counties.
Note: You must obtain a permit to collect insects in Maryland State Parks and State Forests.

i wish all of your habitus pix were oriented this way
makes comparison a whole lot easier
