Reticulitermes flavipes? - Reticulitermes flavipes

Reticulitermes flavipes? - Reticulitermes flavipes
Pelham, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA
May 18, 2008
According to the guide page, Reticulitermes flavipes is the "only termite found in northern, cold winter regions." We don't have any alate adult images in that section yet; is it safe to move these there?

Moved

Based on Nutting and Jones 1990
From what I understand the genus needs a lot of work, and morphological identification by existing keys is not reliable in most of the US, but apparently Reticulitermes flavipes is still considered the only species in the genus able to survive in New England. I think the move is safe.
