Size: 1 mm approx.
Found under bark on firewood (probably pecan wood).

I tried twice to catch another quite large and long-legged mite with purple-grey body and dark red legs up on the lower slopes of the Organ Mountains. It was so large I at first thought it was a spider. Needless to say, they were faster and smarter than me ;-)
