There were a very large number of these katydids out at Government Canyon on Friday; at points it one had to pay attention to avoid stepping on them as they crossed the paths. Many of the smaller trees had dozens of these critters, and the creek and pools of water had drowned ones floating in them. This is an adult female I suspect (if I've learned anything at all lately about these bugs). I will upload some more images later, but wondered if anybody could identify it for me. Thanks.
