Pine lady beetle
Mulsantia picta or related species.

 
common names strike again :)
I think we've decided to call this little beauty the Painted Lady Beetle, the nearest translation of "picta." There are a number of other spp. called pine lady beetles, I've been trying to find alternate common names to tell them apart. However, I'm not making up names...much as I occasionally want to :)

If this is...
If this is M. picta will it need a new page? There is another Pine lady bug but it is in a completely different genus? Synonyms or different?
