There are four likely candida
There are four likely candidates

C. lixa
C. arizonica

C. subcylindrica
C. chamberliniana

The two are grouped as to whether this bup qualifies as 'subcylindrical', which I can't really judge. An examination of the last abdominal tergite and clypeus ought to separate them out.

C. lixa and C. subcylindrica both have mesquite (Prosopis) as a host plant.
