tiny orange ant - Lasius
15 miles south of Dawson, Yellow medicine County, Minnesota, USA

Size: aprox 2-3mm long
enjoy apples. mound are small and nearly ground level. These were found on a driveway. The individual mounds are aprox. 3cm in diameter, the individual mounds are sparsely placed in about a 5in. diameter area.
