Unknown Roach - Chorisoneura texensis
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
May 22, 2010
Size: aprox. 10 mm
Found in pine tree. Fast little fella; not really into having his picture taken. First one of these I have seen around here. I assume it is an adult form.

Moved from Blattellidae.

This cockroach is interesting in that the wings are so translucent and the thorax and abdomen are so uniform in coloration. The pattern of spines on the ventral margin of the front femur makes it unlikely to be one of the species I am familiar with. This should be identifiable, but I don’t know it.
Moved from ID Request.
