Based on the newer images from North Dakota, I'd say Lasius crypticus. But I don't have good enough eyes to say the ants in your older images from Minnesota are the same species.

Subgenus Lasius?
Would Lasius crypticus be in: Subgenus Lasius?
Family Formicidae
Subfamily Formicinae
Genus Lasius
No Taxon Subgenus Lasius
If so and I requested a new guide page be made, do you think it would be fine to include the species from Minnesota on the same guide page. If not should I put the one from Minnesota just into the genus Lasius, or subgenus Lasius?
