Tiny stick insect? - Hydrometra

Tiny stick insect? - Hydrometra
San Antonio Botanical Garden, Bexar County, Texas, USA
May 26, 2010
Size: 12 mm long
Seen on surface of artificial pool, with Trepobates water striders. It wasn't moving. The long neck isn't typical of any insect I know.

A water-measurer
Family Hydrometridae - nice find! Only genus here is Hydrometra.
