Another new genus - Ateuchus
From Florida, this is almost certainly Ateuchus lecontei (Harold) - you have three spp., one described quite recently. If your inclined - a photo of the hind tibia and a side view of the pronotum would be helpful. Species of this genus are 'unarmed' [neither gender has horns or tubercles]. Not clear from this shot, but the clypeus is notched - see another example.
