I'm not sure about this identification, so I'm submitting the pictures. Also, they show a female guarding her egg sac, how the sac is attached to the milkweed leaf, and the aspect of the sac (on the upper surface of the leaf). mostly sunny, 77 deg F, light breeze, in milkweed patch

This looks more like Xysticus
to us. It doesn't seem to have that low flattened carapace of Bassaniana
