spider at park - Tmarus

spider at park - Tmarus
Columbia, Lexington County, South Carolina, USA
May 30, 2010
Size: ~ 3/4 of a inch
I found this spider on a low plant at Saluda Shoals Park, in a sparsely wooded area. I see a lot of spiders at this park, but this one is new to me. It was fairly tolerant of my picture taking, but did scurry back and forth from the front to the underside of the leaf it was on. It eventually assumed a position that looked like it was lying down as flat as possible, with its four front legs stretched out in front of it.

looks like a Crab Spider, i think Tmarus genus
which is a new one to me. I think the eyes and the body shape match up pretty good.
