LOL
How to create a new guide page was not covered in my Rookie Editor's Handbook :) BTW thanks, guys, for bringing this one out of the proverbial moth balls. This makes
19
(ignoring the moth flies) new moth taxa for Bug Guide and
376
for Alabama - in my yard.

9054 – Pseudeustrotia indeterminata
This reminded me of Pseudeustrotia carneola (Pink-barred Lithacodia) and, looking up others in the genus, found that it seems to match P. indeterminata. An image of a live specimen would be new for both MPG and BugGuide.
I'm sending to MPG. Wait for confirmation. Since it appears to have lost some scales, I'm not sure that P. carneola can be eliminated.

Hmmm ...
I had been thinking one of the Brocades, like the Black-banded #9404. Only I haven't found any specimens with the PM shading near the costa. Hopefully, #9054 will prove a better match. Thank you for your help.

Tentative Confirmation
Per Jim Vargo: "I have not seen this species but to my eye it looks like a good bet from the photos. Hindwing view and size data could clinch it."
I'll make a page for it. I think that's about as good of a tentative ID as you'll get. Nice find. If you see it again get some more shots and submit to MPG as well.
Do you have the size?

Size
It's been over a year ago, but I'm thinking since I posted "midget," that it must have been midget-sized. Maybe 30-32mm WS? I'll look through my RAW files and see if I still have a full-frame version to calculate from.
