ID for Bug-eyed Hopper? - Cuerna occidentalis

Ron H. and I found several adult (see his images) and nymph (shown here) hoppers along a dusty trail. They seemed to be related as in both adult and nymph specimens, the eyes were notably large and conspicuous. Unfortunately, it wasn't very easy to associate them with a plant as they mostly seemed to be hopping about in the dirt itself.
