Bee with black and white, conical abdomen - Coelioxys - Española, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, USA May 31, 2010 Size: 1.6 cm long
Coelioxys? If so, is it a male?
The flower is Allium christophii, which it came back to several times. A honeybee seemed to chase it when they came close.
