The Finished Product - Triarthria setipennis - Male
Enumclaw, Forested Unincorporated King County, Washington, USA
April 30, 2010
Size: 5mm
Puparium was found in a firewood pile, just loosely resting in between a couple logs. Kept it in a cup for a while and after about a month, the little fly emerged. I should have taken the photo with the puparium rotated... the two prongs were actually on the posterior end of the fly.
