Praying Mantis Egg Sack
This is a Praying Mantis egg sack. If fertile, it will hatch a couple hundred little Mantises in the spring. I'm not sure if anyone can identify which species of mantis made the egg sack. Are you keeping it? I just noticed the background of the photo didn't look like it was outdoors.

Mantid Egg case
It was found by an employee in a soybean plot.
Plans are to place in garden.
