This guy met me on the garden hose reel - Pisaurina mira

This guy met me on the garden hose reel - Pisaurina mira
rural house, Oconto County, Wisconsin, USA
June 3, 2010
Size: about 3 inches with legs
This guy startled me when I reached for the garden hose. He was not shy at all, and didn't scurry away. I have small grandchildren around my house so need to know if he is poisonous or I should look for a nest this close to my house?

It's not a dangerous spider.

Thank you so much!
Well, that is a relief, and we will let Ms. Gruesome Nursery Web spider alone to eat bugs in our yard. Thank you so much!
