Ground Beetle Larva? - Agulla

Ground Beetle Larva? - Agulla
Stulsaft Park, Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, USA
June 5, 2010
Size: ~ 1 cm
I sifted this larva from coast live oak leaf litter. I wish I had gotten more photos before it disappeared, as the pattern on the dorsum is quite interesting. I'm terrible with immatures, but perhaps a ground beetle larva?
