Wolf spider - Arctosa alpigena

Wolf spider - Arctosa alpigena
Mt. Katahdin, Piscataquis County, Maine, USA
June 2, 2010
Size: ~8 mm
I saw several of these running around above treeline. There were also some big blackish ones, but I wasn't able to get a shot. Someone told me there's an endemic wolf spider on Mt. Katahdin, and I'm curious if either of the ones I saw were that one.

Beautiful spider!
Looks like it could be Arctosa alpigena, but I don't know range at the moment so it might be a similar species.

Moved from Spiders. Nice one. Do you have an approximate size?

8 mm...
Assuming I was as close as I could get with my 105 mm lens.
