Hosts: alder (Alnus spp., Betulaceae)(2)
Life Cycle
Overwinter as adults. Eggs laid on the underside of leaves. Larvae feed on both leaf surfaces and mature in about 5 weeks. Univoltine in the north, may be bivoltine in the south(3)
